14th Edition of Free November (Darmowy Listopad): Discover Warsaw’s Royal Residences

For the 14th time, Warsaw and Krakow open their royal doors under the theme “Royal — what does it mean?”. Throughout November, visitors can explore Poland’s royal residences — the Royal Castle, Wilanów Palace, Royal Łazienki Museum, and Wawel Castle — for free.

On November 11, Łazienki gardens will also host a historical picnic celebrating Poland’s Independence Day.

• Working hours: from 1 October to 30 April, the buildings of the Royal Łazienki Museum are open: Tuesday – Wednesday: 9 am – 4 pm, Thursday – Saturday: 10 am – 6 pm, Sunday: 10 am – 4 pm; Monday closed.

Wawel Royal Castle in Kraków (November 29 – 30)

The final stop of Free November takes place in Krakow, at the Wawel Royal Castle. Visitors can discover the newly reopened Royal Armoury — one of the castle’s most important exhibitions, presenting the history of knighthood, weaponry, and royal splendour in a modern way. Admission will be free during the first three days after the opening.

Throughout November, Wawel also offers free entry to selected exhibitions and castle spaces.
