This November, Warsaw-based Craftica Gallery makes its debut at Salon Art + Design in New York (6–10 November 2025, Park Avenue Armory) — one of the world’s leading fairs celebrating collectible design and art. As the only gallery from Poland among 51 international exhibitors, Craftica introduces a new voice in Polish collectible design — rooted in craftsmanship, yet speaking the language of contemporary aesthetics.

Salon Art + Design brings together the world’s leading galleries and designers — from vintage and modern masters to contemporary visionaries... it celebrates the art of creating space rather than simply collecting objects...

The gallery’s presentation features 21 works by Polish artists and designers, including Igor Polasiak, Cyryl Zakrzewski, Zofia Sobolewska Ursic, Anna Bera, Dagmara Bielecka, Maciej Gąsienica-Giewont, Paweł Jasiewicz, Anna Milczanowska, Kamila Mróz, and Justyna Żak.

Two additional pieces were created in collaboration between French interior designer Patrice Nourissata and Polish artisans Mirosław Kowalczyk and the Hukaluk workshop — a creative meeting point between French and Polish craftsmanship traditions.

At the centre of the exhibition are six distinctive works — from sculptural furniture to poetic everyday objects — complemented by a selection of smaller pieces crafted in wood, ceramics, and glass, revealing a dialogue between form and material.

As founder Anna Woźniak-Starak notes, “Craftica is more than a gallery — it’s a story about Polish craft: about the meeting of traditional techniques with experimental design, about objects that carry the trace of the hand, the material, and the idea”.

Founded in 2024 as part of the Starak Family Foundation, Craftica seeks to redefine how Polish craft is perceived globally, building a bridge between heritage and contemporary design. Following its participation in NOMAD St. Moritz, Salone del Mobile Milano, and Warsaw Gallery Weekend — where its recent presentation at Jaskółka Studio showcased the works of Zofia Sobolewska Ursic this September — Craftica’s debut in New York marks a significant step in expanding this dialogue internationally.

Held at the Park Avenue Armory, Salon Art + Design brings together the world’s leading galleries and designers — from vintage and modern masters to contemporary visionaries. Unlike traditional fairs, it celebrates the art of creating space rather than simply collecting objects, offering a timeless dialogue between styles, disciplines, and eras.
